After 2 and a half years of development, testing, track time and constant comparison with our previous engines, we can finally say it: the new HASI Tuned engine line dedicated to the top 1/8 on-road category is here: MODIFICATO.
This update is not about a single model — it covers the entire range:
ABC and AAC versions, both 7-port and 9-port.
The cylinder has been completely redesigned, with all ports reconfigured to achieve an even better balance between performance and fuel consumption. A development made to work properly both with 16% and 25% nitro fuels, without forcing the driver into compromises.
The piston has also been totally redesigned, and most importantly the piston/cylinder matching process is now done with a new methodology, delivering a more consistent and precise performance.
The crankshaft has been revised in its balancing, while keeping the timing unchanged — because the base was already proven and effective.
On the cooling head, the graphics have been only minimally updated, but the real change is in the new design: a new structure that brings a concrete advantage.

Finally, the carburetor has been updated as well: the high-speed needle was already the latest one used on the most recent 7, but we also revised the sealing, replacing the fuel-contact gasket with a specific nitromethane-resistant material.
To get the best out of this engine, we recommend running it with a V-Fuel backplate and an Ultra-Low venturi.
The ideal configuration is 8.5 mm, while for those who want the absolute maximum performance, the reference becomes the 9 mm.
To complete the full top-level package, the setup we recommend is also:

Hasi Tuned B3 - 1/8 Off Road Engine

The new HASI B3 represents a significant step forward in 1/8 Off Road engine development.
Based on the well-proven OS B2105 platform, the B3 builds upon an already reliable and high-performance foundation, further enhanced through the meticulous inspection and precision assembly carried out by HASI.
Every component is carefully checked, matched, and assembled by hand to ensure perfect internal fitment, exceptional smoothness, and a clean, consistent power delivery. The result is an engine that responds instantly in the low range, maintains strong and linear mid-range performance, and offers a stable, controllable top end — ideal for both technical circuits and high-grip tracks.
A dedicated exhaust system with a matching manifold will also be available soon, specifically developed to maximize the B3’s performance, efficiency, and throttle response, completing the full HASI B3 power package.

Coming from the Hasi Tuned brand of multi-time World Championship finalist, Silvio Hächler is a new O.S. Max R21 based nitro on-road engine. The power plant is modified with the specifications of Silvio and professionally tuned, offering a differently timed crankshaft, a modified case and sleeve. The specifications aim to increase end speed on large tracks, giving extra power over the whole RPM range.
